Sec 3 Camp ‘09 =)

Day 1 – 18 November 2009 (Wed)

Rushed to school because I woke up at 645AM!!! Didn’t even have time to tie my hair. Departed to Kluang via Tuas Checkpoint. Sat beside Bushy =) Love love.

Water Activities…

This woman was our tour guide I think. Quite GL sometimes. We wore jackets and she explained what to do.

First, we went down the dirty water! Holding hands like boy girl boy girl. The mud below was damn zai lo. So hot and even Junhao’s shoe got stuck inside LOL.

Formed a circle around the instructor and floated in the water =)

After getting up, we were soacked in the 臭臭 water! The person said we went down just to experience what it was like in the water. LOL.

Got into the kayak with the Nose =) Cos must have a girl and a guy in each kayak.

Then we got into a (not so straight) line and the guys behind stood up holding hands =P.

He cannot balance ar LOL! =P.

Then, they also had to jump up all at once together. The girls did the same. Then, everybody stood up together to sing Fuhua School Song! HAHAHA =)

Look at Wenqi =P. He is carrying the stick as if it isn’t heavy! Super heavy can.

This was the place we put our belongings at. Then we had this race lah. Go to one end of the lake, and come back =)

After that, we were like all super tired and smelly and my chao4 giam3 sng1 shoes (Just call it CGS) were stinking alrd LOL. Bushy’s also =P. In the end, we went to some crap resort because hotel last minute cannot be booked *Snorts. Climbed all the way uphill…

To our domitories…

It was like insects-infested. The bed had pieces of lizard shit. Ew can? At least they changed our bedsheets for us (because it was requested).

Then, we had to shower right? Water supply also not working. In the end,

We took our shower in the swimming pool!

But it was not bad lah, cos it was kinda big and there was a cove there ma. And Surprisingly, the water was clean! Quite nice =) I was like teaching Ruxin how to soap herself LOL. She kept asking me what to do ma! Because the swimming pool wasn’t enclosed (like duh) LOL. New experience lah, can say so =) We (all the girls) had quite a fun time there, splashing water and playing slides. Not bad =P.

Went to God-knows-where to have our dinner. Forgotten. LOL. But we went to a shopping mall around 9+.

Back at our resort, I was drying my CGS with Shaohui’s PURPLE HAIRDRYER =P All the 3S3 girls went up to the second deck King-sized bed and played Truth or Dare. Super funny! =P Kept laughing.

Then, Peihan came knocking on our door, asking if anybody wanted to “walk walk” LOL. So yea, after walking around the dark place, sat around the swimming pool/Nasi Lemak area, in a circle. Cherlyn, Bushy, me, Jiaying, Ziqi, Marcus, Peihan, Kenny, Junkai, Yeejun. The stars were pretty =)

Day 2 – 19 November 2009 (Thu)

Yawns. Morning exercise before we went trekking the Highest Peak in Kluang, called Gunung Lambak.

Downhill…

Super funny because of Cheeyuan’s American/British accents + chicken noises and Bushy keep saying “Oh my mum’s” whenever she lose her balance or anything.

Ka Min: Oh, so it’s her ar! No wonder I keep hearing *frowns* mum’s mum’s!

HAHAHAHAHA. Found it super funny, her expression and the way she said that =P.

After a tiring day, we went back to our hotel rooms! =) Showered there instead because the previous resort was so !@#$% lah.

Then, we went to Kota Tinggi for dinner and fireflies watching at the river. It was like a cold night after the rain I think so the weather was kinda nice =) The fireflies looked like tiny light bulbs anyway. And Peihan had many failed attempts of just catching it and letting it go. Haha! Nobody took pictures of the fireflies too, because I heard that it would scare them away.

Austin Hills Resort…

Writing our reflections. I was with Ziqi Shaoyan Jolene Yin and another guy (cannot tell from the picture who it is) on their (Sy and Jh’s) bed.

Bush, Cherlyn, Jiaying, Ziqi, Celine, and I went to each other’s rooms and Marcus‘ room (with Junkai, Junwei and Yeejun) too and he was telling ghost stories while the lights were off and had the torchlight under his face LOL. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Yeejun reluctantly went to look thru the peephole.

Until he came back frightened and panic, running back to the beds and stuttered: 没—没有人! *shakes both hands*

EVERYBODY LAUGHED LIKE MAD. DAMN FUNNY LAAAAH. LOL. =)

Day 3 – 20 November 09 (Fri)

It was kinda like a hotel for golfers actually I think. LOL. Get it anot? Ok suan le!

EVEN FUNNIER. Assume we have to go down for breakfast by 8:30 lah. (I forgot the timing alrd so yea, just assume)

So, I woke up finding myself face to face with …

LOL. We were actually supposed to wake up at 8:00 but the teacher dragged it until 8:30 for us because everybody slept late. Even the teacher called our room afterwards because they thought something happened to us. Nothing happen laaaah *shy shy* =)

Went down for breakfast and everybody was there alrd LOL.

Is a game like soccer (17 aside) consisting of 2 balls and goalkeeper. Whatever it means LOL. Didn’t want to play because I didn’t want to get dirty again.

Calvary Orphanage…

EEEEEEEEKS LOVE THIS PART =) =)

Everybody was watching the video which shared with us more about the Orphanage =)

First up, we split into two groups and my group went to play games =P.
Show you three pictures first.

1st Picture – It’s either Darren have no energy or Cheeyuan is too fat to be carried =P HAHAHA. If Cheeyuan is fat, you’re living in a fat world.

2nd Picture - Quite nice right =) This boy a bit cute but too quiet le. Because the second time I went to the orphanage (another post) he was there too =)

3rd Picture – The Nose is piggyback-ing one of the orphans =) I like this picture too. Ok ok back to playing games! =D

Firstly, we played the memory game. Started from noobie Jeremy who is sitting at Cherlyn’s left side =) At first it was really hard to break the ice because they couldn’t really understand what we were trying to say, and I only knew some Malay words. So yea.

Then, things started to get better =)

And better! =D LOL. I think everybody was laughing at Eng Huat lah! See him looking so shyyyyyyyyyy =P. ENG HUAT IS LIKE SO CUTE RIGHT!!!!! =) =)

Then, it was this game where everybody had to step on the newspaper. EEEEEEKS 他跟我手牵手 =P =P =P.

Then, came back and played the game where the children had to answer questions given by some students. I think it was Eugene and another girl. Eng Huat super cute lah, when we tell him to shout out the answer to get sweets, Junkai will immediately carry him up and he will shout damn loud because he love sweets!!!!! =P.

Then after that I pretend to be sad she jiu say he keeps it in his cupboard! =) Hahaha! So happy when I heard that =)

Really enjoyed this camp a lot a lot =) Although it was really tiring and the weather was super warm which made everybody feel even more hot and sticky, we had an incredible time =) It was a loss for those who didn’t go, but it was kinda good too because too many people wouldn’t have made the trip so fun because less people = more opportunities to bond with each other =) This camp was better than my recent one because everything was adventure and games, there was at least a time for shopping everyday (even though some was quick shopping) and because I sort of knew everyone there and everybody made this trip awesome =) Thanks. <3

Day 1:

So, our Form Teacher is Mr Chia. =) LOL. Moley is still my chinese teacher?!?!?! HAHAHA. And Ms Jun teaches English. During Form Teacher Period, we were introducing ourselves to the class until it reached somebody whom I had forgotten.

LOL. Funny can! He treat it like he’s in Ncc liddat. I was wondering why the class never laugh lo. o.o
(I told the actual-sized Haziq (Hassan) about this. LOL.

HAHAHA. I suggested to Doctor Low that he gave me an MC. Then, I bargained and made him give me a longer MC. =) He’s so nice leh. Everytime I go to the doctor and see him, reminds me of Mr Chan. Cos he’s nice, looks like him and loves his family too. =)

So, I skipped school although I went back for training. My sickness was real lo, although nobody really believed me. =( *Heart shatters like glass. Naw, just kidding about the glass part =) Hahaha! Waited for my fake Princess while at the Basketball Court with Shinan, Lizheng, Alfred for a while after Jeslynn left.

Day 5:

MWAHAHAHA. I got valid reason for not going school ok! *Points points points. =) Reached school, went to 4E3 and talked with them =) Played Asshole Daidi. LMAO. Wa shy already shy already, I left as the King. =) Lizheng always tio Asshole! Super funny. And Jolene’s jian jian feeling. HAHAHAHAHA. =)

Then, went to the hall (where they had performances + Fion also told me she’s performing) and passed Mr Chia my homework. *Gives the guai and innocent face. 0=) He said that lots of students had folded pages. Overall, this week might sound fun to you lah. But I normally update when I’m in a good mood.

Ok lah. I think to everybody Cherlyn is just a quiet and sweet girl who keeps things to herself and does not like interacting with people. But hor, she is not lah! She’s quite an open girl, I feel. I mean, you have to go up to her and start to talk to her then you will find out. =) I think? Ok nevermind. The point is that if you have any 心事, she is one of the best people to pour out to. (CHERLYN IF YOU’RE READING THIS YOU BETTER STOP LAUGHING AND PRAISING YOURSELF LOL.) And during the last day of school, she didn’t come lah. During Sec 1, I had that rubbish hair thanks to the noob hairdresser and I remember there was this irritating guy who kept calling me “Crystal Ball” and make those kind of magician hand gestures. Damn irritated hahaha! During Sec 2, after we (Kristie, Tingting, Cheeyuan, me) were sitting according to register numbers we always listen to his rubbishtic jokes lah. And yea, the retarded videos of Viagra and lame jokes on the pig with her oil dropping down and he was saying about the pig trotters damn fat and everything …….. LOL. At least he and the pig like good friends le lah I feel =) Right cy? And this year Sec 3, although we are in different classes but don’t know why became closer. He actually quite shy de lo despite his hooligish behaviour HAHA. Then sometimes will tell him about XX. And have Lee Kuan Yew right =) And oi I very nice to him also ok. This year I was reserve and Fion took the place! =) Kinda shiok because you just have to like be prepared and that’s all. Liyan was first up I think, followed by Baohui and Fion =) Although we did not get any team medals (except for the fact that noob Baohui got individual award! Hahaha!), Baohui and Liyan would still be in the team next year! And if other shooters don’t take my position and when I’m in main team, I guess I really have to train hard eh Darryl =) Hahahahhaha. With dear Soksan of course! Would not forget that time when Fuhua did not receive many trophies and the …… feeling we got. Haha. And they are *coughs. To their shock, Sophie was sitting in front of the phone booth, face buried in her hands in the midst of the crowd. Her mother rushed up to her and asked in an urgent tone the whereabouts of her son. The fury whelmed up when she learned that Sophie’s carelessness lost her son. Sophie could feel herself shrinking smaller and smaller as her mother’s frame got larger and larger, like a prey about to get attacked by it’s predator. Despite the frizzy cold, the heat emitted from her anger gave the atmosphre an unwanted warm feeling.

Suddenly, her wrath disappeared. From a ferocious lioness the previous second, she became a frail and weak mouse during the next. In the blink of an eye, she looked away with a sign of dismay and immediately fished out a photograph of our family from her purse. After which, she shot like a bullet and started her spam of queries to anybody she caught her eye on. They searched high and low, roaming the entire Disneyland like frantic bodyguards gone on a wild goose chase, leaving no stone unturned in search of Spencer.

Five hours blew pass like the cool winter breeze of December. Sophie and her parents were dead beat from streaming through the same place but their determination never made them give up. For the next few days, they scanned the area from 1PM to 6PM to leave everytime with their efforts washed down the drain. Finally, a week of disappointment told them to stop the hunt, and they booked the next flight out home.

Every morning @ 8AM, Spencer’s mum would tidy up his bedroom, arranging his stuff now and then even though they looked comfortable in their previous positions. She’d recall how obedient Spencer was back then, tidying up his items and keeping the room spic and span.
In the noon @ 12PM, Spencer’s dad would drive past his kindergarden school and purposely decelerate at that point of time, recalling the times he’d drop Spencer here and pick him up after that, always greeted with a smile which shone so bright.
At night @7PM, Spencer’s mum would place the plates and utensils neatly on the kitchen table, always not forgetting Spencer’s little Astroboy dish and Spongebob mug to be placed on the left. Spencer’s dad would scoop yam rice out from the rice cooker, and distribute the dishes evenly for him. They would recall him devouring his meals happily without ever complaining how disgusting the vegetables tasted.

Only Sophie did nothing…

She locked herself up in her room everyday, hiding quietly at a corner, reflecting on her acts. She used to hate her brother so much. Just because he was the youngest boy, he always got all the attention, and stole the limelight from her. Sophie always had to give in to him, and hatred soared into her soul, thinking that she’d wish she never had a brother.

But, after this incident, she was proved wrong. A feeling of emptiness surged into her heart, creating a hole which couldn’t be mended. The guilt and sorrow changed her completely from the rebellious kind of tomboy to a sad and emotional girl longing dearly for her lost brother. How did she even lose him? Inside her body, her heart was screaming and crying out pathetically, while on the outside, a sad teardrop came trickling down from her eye duct.

Question: Where was Spencer?

On the other side of the world map, a little boy was all alone. At the same telephone booth, he kneeled onto the soft snow. His Christmas hat sat faced up in front of him, with dirty pennies and dimes occasionally thrown inside from passers-by. Everyday at 7PM, he would sit there. A beggar at the age of 5 years old, waiting for a particular person to appear. Everyday, he would bring himself there with a glimpse of hope that kept him persevering on, scrimping and saving each penny. While at the same time, his family who thought he was dead, would be having their proper meals daily, waiting for him to come back.

People would wonder what a small and frail boy was doing there.

Stranger: “Little boy, what are you doing here alone?”

And everytime, his heart tightened as he said the same sentence.

Spencer: “My sis went to buy sweets for me. The sweet shop must be having a very long caterpillar queue! She told me to wait here at 7PM.”

“She promised me.” He plastered a weak smile across his face, as tears welled up in his eyes.

“And she will be back.”

At the first *, their conversation went…

Sophie: Wait for me here. I will be back at 7PM.
Spencer: Promise?
Sophie: *Shrugs. Promise.

The queue made Sophie forget her promise. She broke it unknowingly, which landed her brother in today’s state.

Moral of the Story: Keep your promise, and treasure everybody before you lose the chance to. Don’t end up regretting your actions. This Christmas, tell everybody how much you love them. =) It’s all about caring and sharing! Hahaha =)

Conduct of Students:

• Be polite to the public while on duty (greet Madam or Sir; explain what the donation is for; say “Thank You” for donations and “Have a nice day” when person decides not to donate)
• Students must be dressed neatly and look presentable to the public at all times.
• While on duty, no eating or loud boisterous behaviour.
• Students are allowed to take 2 to 3 short breaks (5 to 10 minutes) and they are to inform their form teachers.
• Students are encouraged to pair up in twos or threes and sell flags together.
• If a student is unwell, he/she must return the tin to the Form Teacher and not to bring it home.

When you sell flags:

• Selling of flags is NOT PERMITTED in MRT Stations, hotels, shopping centres, hospitals and places of worship.
• You are encouraged to go in pairs to sell flags.
• Stay within the area assigned to you.
• When requesting for donations from the public, smile, be polite and do not coerce or harass people for donations. Always thank donors and give them a sticker in exchange for their donation.
• If you encounter any problems, not feeling well or lose your tin, please report back to the collection centre.

Partners’ Appreciation Night=)

That day was Meet-The-Parents Session. Had a combined meeting with him and her and them. While I was waiting outside the office, Mr Chia came in and he walked like a penguin. Cute and funny LOL. =)

Then, did CCA Councillor Duty along the carpark driveway while the rest @ Main Gate and General Office walkway. LOL. Super funneh!! Cos the driveway quite long ma. Only we guarding. Then I was the mouth, Leslie was the gullet and Azhar the big bouncy stomach! =) And we kept running up and down and when Azhar walked towards wherever he was heading to, we followed him behind until he turned arnd then we act act and Leslie keep cannot tahan. LOLOLOL. =) We still hid behind the bushes but dumb dumb Leslie was spotted cos he made a lot of noise. HAHAHA. =)

Then after their talk at the FISH (Fuhua Indoor Sports Hall), we went to serve the alumni and teachers the wide range of food. =) Too much food left alrd, so we had to give takeaways. Which is what the helpful Azhar and Jordan are doing. =) Hahaha!

Experiments @ Chemistry Lab=)

Did this experiment with Jolene, Zhengxin and Cherlyn. Hahaha! The funnest Chem lesson I had. =) We were timed 5 mins for every station, and had to jot down whatever we see or is taking place.

Experiment No. 1: Egg shell.
Bubbles can be seen. LOL. =) God-knows-what kind of thing is happening there tho.

Experiment No. 2: 1-Cent Coin.
The rust is gone after you place the coin into the beaker of chemicals. By magic. =)

Experiment No. 3: Nail.
Can see the dusty foam thingy going up right? LOL. I also don’t know what is going on.

Experiment No. 4: A metal strip.
I know this!! Have a video of it. =) This silver metal is dropped into the beaker of solution and it slowly disappears while bubbles are formed. In the video, Fat Wong showed us how the procedure goes and explained to us the facts and stuff. Bushy was complaining abt the stinky smell. LOL. And it really stinks!!!!! Damn funny when we did all these experiments. Expecially the expression on people’s faces when they smell it. =) Right, Zhengxin? LOL. I know Buddy gave a super funny expression!! Hahaha! I think he forgot le. =)
